SureHeat Jet vs. Max Air Heaters–What is the Difference?
Thu, December 12, 2024
When it comes to closed-loop process air heaters, TUTCO SureHeat offers a range of powerful and efficient solutions designed to meet a variety of industrial needs. Two standout options are the Jet Air Heater and the Max Air Heater, each engineered to handle inlet temperatures of up to 200°F and exhaust temperatures as high as 1400°F. Both models meet rigorous standards, including UL, CE, and RoHS compliance, and come equipped with dual "Type K" thermocouples for precision and reliability. However, the choice between the Jet and the Max comes down to one key factor: power.
The Jet Air Heater is an all-purpose solution that provides compact efficiency in a smaller package. Available in 3kW or 8kW models, it is perfect for applications requiring moderate heat output and single-phase operation. Its built-in over-temperature protection ensures safety, while its straightforward wiring and mounting design make installation a breeze. Commonly paired with compressed or regenerative air systems, the Jet is an excellent choice for operations needing a reliable, cost-effective heater for air processes.
On the other hand, the Max Air Heater takes heating capabilities to a whole new level. With power options ranging from 6kW to a robust 36kW, the Max can handle demanding applications where higher heat output is needed. It supports a variety of voltage combinations, including single-phase and three-phase, making it flexible enough to suit diverse industrial environments. Like the Jet, it features built-in over-temperature protection and a convenient terminal block for easy setup. While the three kilowat Jet features only a single heating element, the 36 kilowatt Max features six. This multi-element design allows it to deliver significantly more power per size, making it ideal for applications requiring sustained high temperatures and performance.
At TUTCO SureHeat, our primary objectie is to ensure that each of our heaters delivers optimal performance. When combined with a TUTCO control panel, both the Jet and the Max deliver a heating system that provides safe, precise, and reliable heat tailored to your application.
